Vegas Improv Power brings you another in-person Functional Improv® offering:

yes, and. | a 6-week improv class in Las Vegas, NV for Self Improvement

** All participants must be fully vaccinated **

Vegas Improv Power welcomes you back to more in-person improv classes! Our first term of this class was such a success that we're creating a new version to continue to explore the benefits of improv for everyday life. Whether it's your first time trying improv, or whether you've taken our previous classes, this brand-new offering is designed to include everyone.

Our Functional Improv® class is designed to help you connect, communicate, and create skills for everyday life. This class is a fun, functional tool for continuing to reacclimate to being a human running loose in the real world.

We have been awed and inspired by our first foray back into live classes, and we can’t wait to do more. Seeing a room full of people say yes, even with masks on and with limited physical touch, has reminded us that improv is more vital than ever to reconnection and reawakening. The energy shared through common experience, laughter, and discovery in the same space reinvigorates you each week to engage more fully with our new version of normal.

Our Functional Improv® exercises and games help you practice emotional response, communication, reactivity, creativity, listening, storytelling, saying yes, and so much more.

In each 2.5-hour class, your instructors, Ryan and Natalie, will lead you through classic and newly-minted improv exercises that facilitate self-discovery, ensemble building, and lots of laughter.

This class explores improv for all experience levels. Whether you are brand new or have been practicing for years, we offer experiential games and exercises that will apply to your artistic, professional, and personal life. If you took one of our first in-person classes, get excited for more, new, and different improv experiences and friends.

About Natalie:
Natalie has taught, coached, and performed improvisational theatre for 20 years. She trained in Chicago at The Second City, iO Chicago, and ComedySportz theatres, and performed and wrote sketch comedy as a Second City Touring Company cast member.

Since moving to Las Vegas, she has continued to write and perform comedy as well as co-found the Vegas Theatre Hub as an improv curriculum instructor and program designer. She has taught and coached improv for the stage to hundreds of local students and applied improv to individuals, teams, and organizations of all shapes and sizes as well. She can apply the principles of improv to anything and enjoys sharing her passion for improvisation whenever possible.

About Ryan:
Ryan found improv later in life, but immediately recognized its applications and lessons that could be utilized in all aspects of life, from on stage to the business world. He went through the complete improv program at the Vegas Theatre Hub and was chosen to perform as a member of the official house team. He then went on to continue his training at iO West and ComedySportz Las Vegas. He then joined the Hub as a teacher and as the Managing Director.

When not doing improv, he keeps busy helping run small, tech-based startups for 20+ years. He loves sharing his love of improv with those who feel they don't belong on stage, or who think they aren't as funny as everyone else. As an introvert himself, he's seen the benefits of improv and how it can improve your life first-hand and looks forward to doing the same with you!
